Geography Awareness Week Free Resources
Wildgoose is supporting Geography Awareness Week with the launch of two new aerial photography resource packs, which have been designed to support the teaching of local area studies. Geography Awareness Week 2009 is focused on the theme ?Investigating Geography?. Wildgoose has a range of products within its Primary and Secondary Geography subject areas, which develop the skills promoted by Geography Awareness Week. Wildgoose has launched the two new resources, Our School Classroom Pack and Our School Display Pack to coincide with Geography Awareness Week, and to highlight the value of studying a familiar area in developing geographical skills.
Wildgoose has produced a selection of Free Downloadable Classroom Resources to coincide with Geography Awareness Week 2009. The free geography resources can be used in the classroom for a variety of topics. The maps in particular can be used to address Globalisation, the location of MEDCs and LEDCs, energy sources, environmental damage and much more.
